Accreditations + Qualifications
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an important quality assurance scheme which is nationally recognised. It is supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change. MCS itself is an EN45011 Scheme which is focused on ensuring the quality of renewable technology installations and products.
MCS is responsible for accrediting products and installers. In order to take advantage of any Government backed incentive scheme you must ensure that your installation conforms to MCS standards. for more information go to MCS Website
The Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) is sponsored by the Renewable Energy Association. It sets out the standards applied to the selling or leasing of small scale heat and power generators, whether from low carbon or renewable sources, to domestic users. It has been designed to help its members achieve high consumer protection standards when selling or leasing small scale heat and power generators. For more information go to RECC
The main objective of the F-GAS Scheme is to contain, prevent and through doing so reduce emissions of F-gasses covered by the Kyoto Protocol. This scheme will help to achieve the European Community's Kyoto Protocol target by putting into effect cost mitigation measures. The main focus is on the restriction and recovery of F-gases, together with the implementation of the restriction on the marketing and use of F-gases where it is difficult to contain the gas or where other alternatives are suitable.
Members of the F-GAS Scheme agree to advocate the principles of the scheme and abide by its rules and regulations. For more information go to REFCOM
Key Daikin Installer. The Key Daikin Installer Scheme was started on the 11th of May 2015 it was set up to support a closer working relationship between installers and Daikin UK as well as support the skills growth of UK renewable heating installers. The KEY Daikin network are a group of highly skilled independent companies who act as Daikin direct sales representatives throughout the UK. It opens up an on-going dialogue with Daikin UK and provides many advantages to the customers they serve such as an increased 5 Year warranty.
Mitsubishi Business Solutions Partners (BSP) Mitsubishi Systems are available only through an Accredited Ecodan Installer (AEI) as Business Service Partners we are qualified as Accredited Ecodan Installers. This ensures that your system is chosen to best suit your individual property and will consistently deliver the highest standards of performance. AEIs are independent contractors who have shown that they are appropriately qualified, have attended the Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan training days and have subsequently met all the qualifying criteria.
