Costs & Savings

The initial cost of your heat pump system will vary depending on the size of your property, the temperatures you are wishing to achieve and the type of system you would like to install.

There are Loans and Incentives available to help fund the installation of renewable heating systems as well as payments over the course of seven years which can be claimed through the Renewable Heat Incentive. More information about this can be found here.

The amount you can save will depend on what you are currently using as well as the system you are replacing it with. Ways to improve your savings are:

Your choice of heating system

The type of heat emitters you have installed will have an impact on efficiency and therefor cost. Underfloor heating can be a more efficient form of heating because the water in the system doesn't need to be as hot. However, this isn't always possible in which case use the largest radiators you can, we will help guide you in choosing the most appropriate system for your needs.

What was your old system?

If you are replacing an old system you are likely to see much lower running costs with a new heat pump as your new system will run much more efficiently.

Using the controls

The more you understand your system the more you will get out of it, at the end of every install we provide an in depth demonstration of the controls so that you are able to set them to suit your needs. You will also receive a handover pack with all your manuals and user guides.
